The Sages note that there are certain factors that can hasten the redemption and the coming of the messiah.

Great is repentance, as it hastens the redemption.

Great is charity, as it hastens the redemption.

The Holy One, blessed be He, said: If Israel performs justice and righteousness, they are immediately redeemed.
