The Talmud cites a baraita that addresses the question: Which takes priority, studying Torah or getting married?

The Sages taught in a baraita: If one is obligated to study Torah and has reached the appropriate age to marry a woman, which takes priority? He should study Torah first and afterward marry a woman. And if it is impossible for him to be without a wife, for whatever reason, he should marry a woman and then study Torah.
