Leaders of the entire world mourned the death of Abraham.

Rav Hanan bar Rava said that Rav said: On the day that Abraham our patriarch passed from the world, all the prominent leaders of the nations of the world stood in a row and said: Woe to the world that has lost its leader, and woe to the ship that has lost its captain.
