God’s actions are perfect: He conducts the world justly and perfectly. According to the Sages, Moses accepted the judgment that God decreed upon him that he would not enter the Land of Israel.

The Israelites said to Moses: What caused the decree that you would not enter the land? Moses said to them: I caused it. They said to him: Didn’t the Holy One, blessed be He, do it to you? Moses said to them: Heaven forfend! Even if you see the Holy One, blessed be He, absolving the wicked and condemning the righteous, nevertheless, “the Rock, His actions are perfect, as all His ways are justice; a faithful God and there is no injustice” (Deuteronomy 32:4).
